Medical Definition of Calcaneocuboid joint
1. A somewhat saddle-shaped synovial joint between the anterior surface of the calcaneus and the posterior surface of the cuboid. This is the lateral element of the compound transverse tarsal joint. Synonym: articulatio calcaneocuboidea. (05 Mar 2000)
