Medical Definition of Butyrylthiocholine

1. N,n,n-trimethyl-2-((1-oxobutyl)thio)-ethanaminium. A sulfur-containing analog of butyrylcholine which is hydrolyzed by butyrylcholinesterase to butyrate and thiocholine.
