1. A rare deficiency of beta-d-glucuronidase; an autosomal recessive disorder with several allelic forms, characterised by abnormal mucopolysaccharide metabolism leading to progressive mental deterioration, splenic and hepatic enlargement, and dysostosis multiplex.
