Medical Definition of Benign pseudohypertrophic muscular dystrophy

An X-linked inherited disorder characterised by slowly progressive muscle weakness of the legs and pelvis. Other symptoms and findings include increased difficulty walking, intellectual retardation, fatigue and pseudohypertrophy of the calf muscles.
