1. Haemoglobinuria, muscular weakness, and pains in the limbs, occurring in persons living in the vicinity of the Haff inlet, caused by arsenic poisoning from waste in a celluloid factory. Origin: Haff, an arm of the Baltic Sea in East Prussia (05 Mar 2000)
