Medical Definition of DTP vaccine
1. A vaccination administered to infants for protection against diphtheria, pertussis (whooping cough) and tetanus. Vaccinations are typically administered at 2, 4, 6 and 15 months. A final vaccination is now recommended at 4-6 years of age. (27 Sep 1997)
