A small valve, once used in official nomenclature as a general term to designate a valve, such as in the heart, but in NA restricted to designation of a cusp of the aortic valve of the valve of the pulmonary trunk or the valves of the anus, foramen ovale, navicular fossa, coronary sinus, inferior vena cava or of the lymphatic vessels and veins.
