Medical Definition of Ureteral neoplasms

1. Neoplasms or tumours of the ureter. Haematuria, which occurs in 75% of patients with ureteral carcinoma, is the most common presenting symptom. The most common site for the occurrence of a ureteral tumour is in the lower third of the ureter, with a lesser incidence higher up. (12 Dec 1998)
