1. 1,1,1-trichloro-2,3-epoxypropane. A potent epoxide hydrase and aryl hydrocarbon hydroxylase inhibitor. It enhances the tumour-initiating ability of certain carcinogens. Pharmacological action: enzyme inhibitors. Chemical name: Oxirane, (trichloromethyl)- (12 Dec 1998)
