Medical Definition of Ribose polymerase

1. Enzyme that catalyses the attachment of ADP ribose units to various nuclear proteins. This post translational modification of proteins is dependent on DNA and appears to be involved in the regulation of various cellular processes such as differentiation, proliferation and transformation.
