1. Wilm's tumour or nephroblastoma, is a cancerous tumour of the kidney in children. Wilm's is the most common tumour of the kidney and the most common intra-abdominal tumour in children. The exact cause is unknown, but probably develops in foetal tissue due to an underlying genetic factor. (13 Nov 1997)
