1. A tick-borne relapsing fever, occurring in the Middle East, caused by Borrelia persica and transmitted by Ornithodoros tholozani and possibly by Ornithodoros lahorensis. Synonym: mianeh disease, mianeh fever. (05 Mar 2000)
