1. A drug that selectively activates certain subclasses of muscarinic receptors and also activates postganglionic nicotinic receptors. It is commonly used experimentally to distinguish muscarinic receptor subtypes. Pharmacological action: ganglionic stimulants, muscarinic agonist, nicotinic agonists.
