Medical Definition of Leurocristine
1. A dimeric alkaloid obtained from Vinca rosea; its antineoplastic activity is similar to that of vinblastine, but no cross-resistance develops between these two agents, and it is more useful than vinblastine in lymphocytic lymphosarcoma and acute leukaemia. Synonym: leurocristine. (05 Mar 2000)
