Definition of It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God
1. Proverb. Jesus was saying that many people with wealth will find it even more difficult to enter the Kingdom of God than it was for a camel to enter the small opening in the wall around the city of Jerusalem. Difficult but ''not'' impossible. However it would only be possible for those with wealth if they were prepared to put God before money. If a person's wealth makes them unable to bend the knee to God (as the camel had to do to enter the gate to the city) then they will not enter the kingdom of God. ¹
