Medical Definition of Isohypercytosis

1. An obsolete term for a condition in which the number of leukocytes in the circulating blood is increased, but the relative proportions of the various types (especially the granulocytes) are within the usual range. Origin: iso-+ G. Hyper, above, + kytos, cell, + -osis, condition (05 Mar 2000)
