1. A muscarinic antagonist structurally related to atropine but often considered safer and more effective for inhalation use. It is used for various bronchial disorders, in rhinitis, and as an antiarrhythmic. Pharmacological action: anti-arrhythmia agents, bronchodilator agents, muscarinic antagonists, parasympatholytics.
