Definition of Ignosticism

1. Noun. The philosophical position that beliefs regarding the existence or non-existence of God (capitalized) all assume too much, especially because there is not just one universal definition of the word "God" or because the concept of "God" is both unfalsifiable and unverifiable; also called "theological noncognitivism". ¹
