Medical Definition of Heyer-pudenz valve

1. A valve used in the shunting procedure for hydrocephaly; consisting of a catheter-valve system in which the ventricular catheter leads the cerebrospinal fluid into a one-way pump through which the cerebrospinal fluid passes down the distal catheter into the right atrium of the heart.
