Medical Definition of Healed tuberculosis

1. A scar or a calcified, fibrous, or caseous nodule in the lung pleura, lymph node, or other organ, resulting from previous tuberculosis that has regressed; reactivation is possible. Synonym: arrested tuberculosis, inactive tuberculosis. (05 Mar 2000)
