1. A hormone, obtained from intestinal mucosa, that inhibits gastric secretion and motility; secretion of enterogastrone is stimulated by exposure of duodenal mucosa to dietary lipids. Synonym: anthelone E, enteroanthelone. (05 Mar 2000)
