Medical Definition of Dimorphous leprosy

1. A form of leprosy that is very unstable immunologically; the cutaneous nerves frequently present bacilli, but the lepromin test is usually negative; cutaneous lesions are comprised of flat bands or plaques. Synonym: dimorphous leprosy. (05 Mar 2000)
