Medical Definition of Craniospinal ganglia

1. A term collectively designating the sensory ganglia on the dorsal (posterior) roots of spinal nerves and on those cranial nerves that contain general sensory and taste fibres; also called encephalospinal ganglia. Synonym: craniospinalia ganglia. (05 Mar 2000)
