Medical Definition of Corpuscula bulboidea
1. Nerve terminals in skin, mouth, conjunctiva, and other parts, consisting of a laminated capsule of connective tissue enclosing the terminal, branched, convoluted ending of an afferent nerve fibre; generally believed to be sensitive to cold.
