1. Presence of coproporphyrins in the urine, as in variegate porphyria. Hereditary coproporphyria, an inherited (autosomal dominant) disorder of a deficiency of coproporphyrinogen oxidase, resulting in overproduction of porphyrin precursors leading to neurological disturbances and photosensitivity.
