1. Eimeria meleagridis, a species which localises in the caecum, Eimeria dispersa and Eimeria innocua in the small intestine, Eimeria adenoeides in the lower ileum, caecum, and rectum, and Eimeria gallopavonis in the ileum and rectum. Synonym: coccidia of turkeys. (05 Mar 2000)
