Medical Definition of Cavernous plexus of penis
1. Two nerves, major and minor, derived from the prostatic portion of the pelvic plexus supplying sympathetic and parasympathetic fibres to the helicine arteries and arteriorvenous anastomoses of the corpus cavernosum stimulating erection.
