1. Antibodies directed against phosphorylated polysaccharide esters of fatty acids, includes lupus anticoagulant, VDRL, and anticardiolipin antibodies. Associated with immune-mediated illnesses, syphilis, and stroke; thought to be from a hypercoagulable disorder. (05 Mar 2000)
