Medical Definition of Accrochage

1. Intermittent synchronization of two different rhythms of the heart with one influencing the behaviour of the other when neither is dominant; seen in cases of atrioventricular dissociation when an atrial beat falls shortly after a ventricular beat, the latter causing the atrial beat to occur sooner than expected.
