1. A disease characterised by an inward bulging of the acetabulum into the pelvic cavity, resulting from arthritis of the hip joints, usually due to rheumatoid arthritis. Synonym: arthrokatadysis, Otto pelvis, protrusio acetabuli. (05 Mar 2000)
